Like everyone has said, there is not much to separate them. I do believe that Warne was the better of the two in the 90s and Murali the better in the 00s.

You'll be able to pick a second spinner if you want. The 11th place in the team has several runner-up options - you'll be able to pick a third seamer, a second spinner, a second allrounder or a sixth specialist batsman, IIRC.

you can. the two opening bowlers will always be, obviously, fast bowlers. after selecting one spinner, the poll for the fourth bowling spot will feature both spinners and pacers and the last slot in the team will be open to all rounders, the runner up middle order bat and the runner up from the last bowling spot. so you can select 3 or 4 spinners if you want.

Murali chucks, Warne uses drugs, Harby is a rascist Vettori and Kumble look like professors and McGill has less then 200 wickets this means a vote for Kaneria since he is better then Giles and Monty.

I think Murali was slightly better this decade then Warne, but as Prince EWS stated in his post, Warne adds more to the team in terms of leadership, catching, and batting. Therefore I’m going with Warne.

I always support picking the better bowler and Murali was better this decade, so went for him. Will choose both in my ultimate XI though for sure.

I wanted to vote for Murali but my arm wouldn't straighten enough to get the mouse pointer that far up the poll, so I voted Warne instead.

Interesting, I imagine that in this case the three first picked bowlers from this decade would be McGrath, Warne and then Murali anyway. Spinners are picked because the quicks need a rest and someone needs to take the wickets on a bunsen.

If there wasn't a shadow of a doubt then people wouldn't get into the giant Warne vs Murali arguments they get into.
