Well done Broad, not going to comment on the fielding last over, not enough swear words in the world, tbh.

Gun is australian for "Jolly good":)

Oh ffs cmon, gone from watching Australia catching everything in the park to this. Such a massive contrast.

Despite all the big hits and missed catches, it looks as if we're going to keep them down to a chaseable total.

South Africa get 154 gifted 30 runs by England with the abysmal fielding.
What happened then? I was only able to follow the game on ceefax.

Even so, there seem to be some odd goings on. Snape as a 6th bowler always looked odd, and so it proved. And there was too much unnecessary chopping &changing afaics. with Dmitri & Schofield suffering from having to bowl single-over spells for no obvious reason. Plus 7 wides is completely unacceptable from guys who are supposed to do this for a living.

England did everything very well... except catch...
If it wasnt for that England would have been chasing somthing more like 130 odd.

I thought the constant bowling changes was good.. maybe one or two two over spells, but I think it doesnt allow the bastmen to settle and in this for of the game that is so important.
Aus did the constant changes to great effect v Bangladesh and England.
Allthough there where a few two over spells in those games :)

Put down at least 5 chances one of them was Morkel who went on to hit three 6's in the next 3 balls arfter the drop (actually wasn't even a drop 2 fielders put each other off and neither laid a hand on it). Boucher & Kemp both scored boundries after being given chances Boucher dropped twice in 2 balls.

Useless Wright gone for another duck. Just need prior out now & then the proper cricketers can start playing.

Anyway should be fun with KP in now.

Wright gone for a duck, beginning to agree with Chappell about proven performers in other formats> domestic specialists.
