Cricsim are favourites with the TAB, but the odds are closely matched at $1.71 to $1.94. The bookies aren't impressed with the CricketWeb forwards, however, and these odds have gone out slightly after the forecast was set for a heavy dew and greasy conditions.

CricketWeb get this one underway. For the first time in his Seasonal Rugby career, Sam Somerset gets away a decent kick. Cleanly taken by Charlie Downes.
Line Out to CricketWeb Crabs. That's a good throw from Volt Man. Easy take there for the CricketWeb Crabs. The ball secured easily by Bruce Force. And a good rumbling maul to follow through. Excellent play from the Crabs' forwards here. Zinzan Brumby with the ball on the run here. He's already gained 8 metres. We've seen this move already from the Crabs, but why not try it again?? The ball comes out scrappily, but tidied up by Mark Phifteenplus. Mark Phifteenplus is tackled by Charlie Downes for the Gayler ****s and a ruck forms. The ruck is contested but the CricketWeb Crabs show good ball security and extracate the ball from the ruck. Massive pressure on the ****s' line here. Surely the Crabs are going to try and rumble it over again? Nah, they're looking to spread it and there's a massive overlap here. The ball comes out wide to winger Chris Raftery in acres of space. He slides in to the corner and gains the Crabs another try! Wonderful move. TRY TO CricketWeb Crabs. Bochat shows excellent work there to twist in the tackle and hold the ball out for Quilty to pick it up quickly. With bodies committed at the ruck, the ****s look to spin it out wide. Through the centres, then spun out wide to on-running Dorn. Matt Dorn with the ball on the run here. He's through! Easy try from that overlap. Dorn comes round to make the conversion easier for Alessi. TRY TO Gayler ****s. Conversion attempt for the Gayler ****s. Kick to be taken by Dion Alessi. Great kick. Quilty's made a big difference with his distribution since coming on, and he lets off a great cut out pass to Tyson. Tyson with the infield ball to Geoff Smith who then passes to his great pal and bestest friend, Mathew Dorn. Dorn's now playing like a man with confidence, rather than the shunty shunty way he normally plays. He threads his way through between two forwards... Now with only the full back, Wright to beat. Dorn lures him in and then twists the other way and he's down in the corner!!! Great run from Matt Dorn. A great run of 44 metres. TRY!! Now, for the conversion to level it up...Dion Alessi lines this one up. No pressure, lad. And it sails just wide of the upright. Gayler and Tyson hurl abuse at the young Victorian as he heads back to receive the restart. CricketWeb lead 19-17.
