Shaun Pollock with 49 Test wickets @ under 21 suggests he is more than up for the job of being our first change bowler, and in combination with Wasim Akram leads a strong bowling attack. An aggressive fast bowler in John Snow too. Also a solid spin attack with offspinner Hugh Tayfield as well as a very capable 5th bowling option turning the ball the other way in Aubrey Faulkner. When needed Ted Dexter provides the option of a 4th seamer.
Happy with the batting minus Gavaskar and maybe Smith perhaps lacks a very, very top name but Neil Harvey a very solid option at 4 and in Sehwag have someone who can take a game away from you in a session. With a deep batting lineup facilitated by a 2nd spinner averaging just over 40 and Pollock and Akram being able to bat this should ensure we have enough depth on days where Sehwag's aggression doesn't come off.
