ATG top 4 and batting depth with Marsh down at 9 and absolutely gun bowling attack. In a few years I might swap Hadlee and Jamieson in the batting order. Pretty decent part-timers with Simpson, Compton, and Crowe too.

Very different to the side I really had in mind to start the draft but pretty happy with it. A great fast bowling opening pair of Lillee and Thomson backed up by a very good all rounder in Procter. His presence at 8 should stiffen up the batting and make up for not the stiffer tail from 9-11. Lance Gibbs very capable of long bowling spells to accompany the fast bowlers and Mushtaq Mohammed a very credible 5th bowling option and gives us 2 good spin options on dryer pitches.

An ATG top 3 in the batting and with Boycott and Dravid they are likely to ensure the brilliant talent of KP will rarely be coming in against a new ball siding his chances of pulling the bowling apart. Hussey a solid number 5 who goes under the radar, Mushtaq Mohammed a solid 6 and a keeper-batsman averaging over 40 especially in past eras is something to shout about when it comes to Les Ames.
