99* sent through his preferences to me, as he's going to be offline. His first preference was Trueman (as it was my own!), so he'll take Sir Ian Botham.

Was torn between Trueman and him. I couldn't resist having Lindwall and Trueman partner up for me, so decision made. I really shouldn't complain about being second in line for the England round, but didn't enjoy having to choose there.

Yeah, surprising it took so long for him to be picked.

Agree with what Joe said above. Too much choice isn't the easiest, specially when you have to make everyone fit into the team.

Would have been the second greatest or even the greatest batsman of all time ,had his career not been interrupted for nearly 10 years due to a world war.Still even after a hiatus is a contender to be England's best batsmen of all time with a average of 57-

Sir Leonard Hutton

Really tough this english round. Needed a opener so the choice became a lot easier.Surprised though Sutcliffe was picked ahead of him.

Would have taken Hammond for sure except I'm following a strategy of getting my bowlers first whereever it's not patently foolish to do so.

Hell of a batting lineup Cevno. Also surprised that Sutcliffe was picked ahead of Hutton. Still, both were pretty good.

Brumby may have had a better lineup if he had picked Nourse IMO.

Blakus

State Vice-Captain
Looking forward to my pick. All the hard decisions have been made for me.

Some really good teams developing too. Love the look of Matt's bowling attack.

It would be interesting to see what countries go twice.

I think England and Australia would not be that difficult if they go again.
The third one could be a serious disadvantage to the guy who goes in the bottom half.
