Yeah i would agree Flintoff would come the closest, but wouldnt you agree that Australia posess specialist batters that are better than Flintoff and specialist bowlers that are better than Flintoff?

Yes and no. McGrath, Lee and Gillespie are better, however I'd take Flintoff over the back-up bowlers, but with Flintoff bowling all fifty overs (in ten spells of five at maximum intensity) I think that's definitely an equal setup.

Then add the fact that the batting line-up's so ridiculously long with 11 Flintoffs in, and I'm sticking to the fact that I reckon Flintoff Utd would beat Australia more often than not.

I'm sure he'd be alright... he wouldn't have to do any standing up, and he's got a damn good pair of hands, I can't see him making too much of a horlicks of it.

Gotta be Flintoff. Can't see anyone having as much of a balance between the two skills [batting and bowling] than him. He is a decent fielder as well. Maybe Cairns comes close but can't see beyond the 6''5 figure of Freddie

this is a very hard question to answer just becase it defies logic, but trescothick is the only person who i have seen bat bowl and keep, so maybe he would be useful
