Jesus Christ on a stick.

This has been an exhibition of how not to bat on the first morning of an English Test match.

Lol. Jimmeh pointedly throws it up and catches it again. Not so very hard, eh chaps?

Powell did ok, but the fact I'm thinking that about an opener who's made 30-odd tells its own story.

 they should just have a bowl and hope the top order improves by tomorrow?
Well bowling is their strength and if they got into England early then it puts them on the back foot, as it is they will be batting with WI all out less than 250 again (maybe 150 way it is going) and even a couple of early wickets means England won't panic as they are in control already.

Nah makes it even worse IMO. He was in and set.

Trent Bridge deteriorates and it might not be sunny on later days. Batting was so, so obviously the right move. But they were always very likely to lose regardless of what they chose.

Wouldn't say it's their strength (Darren Sammy - Test match 3rd seamer:huh:).

Two balls left - well, if Shiv's lucky

Poor Sammy. He is asked to win test matches with this sorry parade for a batting order and somehow it's his fault they suck because he doesn't bowl faster than the license losing theshold.

Windies would take Barath, Powell and Edwards all getting starts and chucking it away as opposed to them looking complete rubbish and scoring nothing continually.

Sad, wicket looks pretty decent.

What's with the ****ing testicle shots? We had a Testicle Test between NZ and South Africa and Michael Clarke has made a career from balls being hit.
