Great little counter-attack from these two. From a neutrals perspective, this is great cricket to watch.

Was just thinking the same thing

If it continues all series, no doubt someone on here in the future will accuse the Eng bowlers of not being able to perform in Oz
Says more about the pitches & conditions than anything else. England's bowling average of 35.3 is damn good compared to Australia's bowling average of 87.31.

Ruckus

International Captain
He's not succeeding because of his "new attacking mindset" FFS, it's actually the opposite. He's been willing to defend good balls unlike some of the other Aussie batsmen. That, and he's always been terrific in Australia.
Yeah haha he averages a ridiculous 67.80 in Australia. He is well and truely a home track bully, but boy o'boy, that's exactly what we need right now.

He is putting away the crap. Crap which Finn is bowling at least twice an over.

Haddin's wicket isn't so important here as he will just slog once the tail appears but Huss has form for batting big with the tail.

Tremlett really has been the difference from a facetious point of view. The figures show fairly average returns for Finn and Anderson, even though Anderson especially has been much better than it suggests.

Small error from Huss there sees him undone - played back, should have been forward.

Fine knock in the circumstances though. Kudos.
