Looking in control here SL, a few good overs from the bowling side does not create the kind of pressure you would feel if you were setting a total (or chasing a bigger one). Dilshan's S/R just 55, but he seems content with that, and why wouldn't you if you see the job through.

The pressure was definitely released when Styris was brought on.Vettori should perhaps have gambled and kept himself on for a few more overs to keep the pressure and hopefully get the wicket. It was always going to be an uphill struggle for NZ anyway.

Wouldn't suggest NZ have been in great positions tbh. They've always been recovering and got themselves into ok positions to push on, but wouldn't say they've ever been in a great position today.

Styris was clearly aiming to bat right to the end and was banking on seeing off Murali before attacking in the last two. With wickets falling around him it was getting more and more difficult for him to take the risks.

Yes you're right SL are very handy at home in these conditions.
