By the way, anyone know what happened with the Mathews decision? This business of "There has to be 100% evidence from every single camera angle" for it an on field decision to be overturned" needs to go. It flies in the face of common sense that the third umpire gives something out which shouldn't be.

Last I checked, the third umpire is an umpire too. What about his instincts? Can't he rely on them instead of this stupidity where he goes with the on field decision even though which was made in a split second with less evidence available.

A better question is why isn't the ICC funding HotSpot/Snicko for all Test matches? It shouldn't come from the host board pocket since its about umpiring..

srilankan two strike bowler injured otherwise no way Pakistan moves from 95 for 5 to 417.HErath took 23 wickets in 2 test, last year but he looks ordinary so far.

how was sarfaraz behind the stumps? saw some pretty neat stumpings where he definitely would've been blocked by the batsmen.

Way better than akmal, that's for sure.

Thought he was really neat behind the stumps. Very good standing up.

He's usually pretty sloppy but did well in this match. Didn't flap at many as far as I saw, and yeah, the stumpings were excellent.

That actually reflects each countries strengths pretty succinctly.

India is traditionally the asian team with the best batsmen, so they are the best in ODIs.

Pakistan is traditionally the asian team with the best bowlers, so they are the best in tests.

Next test is the same venue of last visit by Pakistan, sarfaraz hit century and half century vs some great bowling.I think he restart where he left in previous test series, 265 in 4 innings with @ century and 3 half . He is a Gifted player with brilliant techniques to play shots, he knows where the fielders are, he has ability to cope with situation so fast ,I think he deserved 1000 us dollar awards, I never seen anyone hitting so freely in test since long long time except Azheruddin and Sachin hits in southafrica in test.
