***Official***Match #27- Australia vs New Zealand - October 28th-Dharamsala (D)

There you go ladies and gentlemen- Our first last-ball game of the tournament basically...

Finally get a real close one.

Pakistan might take consolation while they limp out of the tournament soon they still might hold the record chase in a ODI World Cup match.

What a fantastic game credit to both sides.

As good as a demonstration of the strengths of ODI cricket as you're likely to see.

International Vice-Captain
Wonderful game. Loved watching Neesham nearly pulling that off and Australia lifting their fielding right at the end.

Great game, a heap of fun. The full gamut of great and terrible performances from individuals on both sides.

See you again in the finals :thumbup1:

Yeah though 5 from 2 is obviously quite different from 6 from 1, granted a guy with a busted Achilles isn't likely to do either
Free hit might have helped too, in theory (but no guarantees when it's Ferguson).

Seriously though, the first 10 and the last 5 of Australia's innings notwithstanding New Zealand were genuinely outstanding. Those patches just really, really hurt.

Australia really need to rotate the strike a better against spin. And work out wtf to do with Starc. But other than Marsh and Starc I thought Australia did play very well as well.
