[SS imitation mode] It's not over yet, guys. Clark could still hit a hundred. What about Tait? [/SS imitation mode]:p

Ok, simple now for the Aussies, here are the requirements:

Clarke: Staying in is a must, make your way to a century and beyond, play shots when required but also be very cautious, tomorrow's a full day.

Mitchell Johnson & co: Leave everything well outside off and defend anything on the stumps. Avoid getting forward to the spinners and give as much strike as possible to Michael Clarke.

Craig:Tell me when you're ready for a new avatar, mate. No, seriously.
Ready now.

Don't be too hard on Clarke; he's played really, really well with not enough support, the game was over anyway and it was a smart bit of bowling from Kumble.

Great calling from Greiggy there:

"And Clarke is bowled by Kumble..... Out stumped."

TBH I was having trouble working out Clarke and Johnson's gameplan out there - with 160 needed, the tail was gonna have to contribute a fair amount of runs, and surely Clarke couldn't hope to score them all himself. He was under enough pressure as it was. Good innings though.

Need so many things to go right in chasing a big total like this and one of them was that the opposition doesn't bowl all that well. India haven't obliged and it's really been their match all the way through.

Johnson does average 50 in Test cricket - there is a reason he has been dismissed only once. Is Clark good enough to act as a nightwatchman while Johnson farms the strike?
No need. With Clark's free-swinging style, he'll guide the way to the total before stumps today.

Btw...

WHERE THE **** ARE YOU EVERMIND?

Show yourself. Conveniently gone missing.
Nah, we'll be just fine without him.

Reckon the batsmen are due to dominate the next match as well. When you think about it, it's really been a bowlers series so far (1st innings for both sides in Sydney aside).
