Stop being ridiculous. Prior has played 7 series in his career and had 1 poor one. Out of which hes only played 2 against the WI. Get over it, scoring runs in India and SL is hardly an easy feat. Hes still unproven but hes hardly set a foot wrong thus far in his international career.

One of the most famous and worthwhile sayings at Headingly is the "if you are going to slash, slash hard" and its worth mentioning here because almost all of the England batsmen were out poking at deliveries or playing frail shots instead of going hard at the balls. If you just fend at deliveries, odds are if the pitch is doing something that it wont be too long before the ball goes to the slips.

And Watson shows how its done in the first 2 balls of the over.
