Sol Campbell seems to have decided to leave Macclesfield. It'll be interesting to find out the circumstances after his relentless whining about black players not being given a chance after sending in 5000 CV's before getting an interview.

It looks like Liverpool might have lost another keeper at least short term. Feel a bit sorry for the bloke who must have thought Christmas had come early getting a run in the first team.

Wouldn't necessarily be the wrong call imo. If things are self-evidently down the ****ter, there's no minimum amount of games a manager is owed.

Yeah for sure, but like any tough decision people can put it off and procrastinate it or just get it wrong. Once you work out what needs to be done though its never too early to make the right call imo, even if you've dallied on it previously.

It's like if you had a girlfriend who you weren't sure about, but gave the benefit of the doubt to, who turns around one day and days "oh BTW, I think all Jews should be sent to gas chambers". It simply wouldn't occur to anyone to say "hmm better give them a few more weeks to see if they can turn it around"

The analogy works. Regardless of when the realisation dawns on you, even if this occurs later than it should, you should absolutely make whatever decision you feel is appropriate in the circumstances. No point in dithering.

And I won't pretend that, no.
