So how annoying is it for Arsenal fans that they can play brilliantly away in europe and roll over for a tummy tickle away in the league?

Well done to both sides for making the final by the way. Great week for English clubs.

I think Leicester and Wolves are just better than Napoli or Valencia at the moment. But also the games go completely differently. The last two European teams really opened up at home to Arsenal and got picked off. Whereas when PL teams play Arsenal at home they always look to stifle them. Then the ball doesn’t get to the two strikers who are by far their best players.

I love how Mourinho himself has become a Specialist in Failure nowadays after his earlier barbs about Wenger. And with Mourinho, it's not just failure, but also misery and divisiveness for the entire fanbase.

Karma is a bitch, he deserves all of it.
Your obsession with Mourinho cannot be healthy

Mostly yeah but City are maybe the least hated team in the top 6. It sort of feels like there’s not enough of an identity there to hate properly.

It’s a mix of how good you are, what type of football you play, what your fans are like and how pretentious the club is.
Give it another decade or so, it takes time to build resentment, after all. Most football fans remember when City were bang average and hence don't begrudge the club its success too much. But that will fade.

Apparently you can win nigh on 20 grand for a one pound stake if you think the Premier League will end needing a play off. It needs City to lose 4-0 and Liverpool to draw 4-4 (or 5-1 and 5-5 and rising). Some things are often worth risking a pound on, but that isn't one of them.

It's stupid to compare an away league game with an away second leg where the home side are behind from the first leg.

Missed opportunity? I caught a bit 30 mins in and it looked like you’d put it to bed.
I think so. First half we could have been 3 or 4 up. They camped behind the ball and time wasted to preserve the one goal deficit. I get why they did it but it was fairly surreal.

At the end of the day I’d have taken 1-0 this time yesterday, but it’s going to be a nervy weekend. Roll on Monday.

As soon as I saw it I thought of Arsenal's Europa League tie against Atletico Madrid last season. At least you didn't shoot your foot off in the last 10 minutes like we did.

Already fed up with their dubious 'corporate sponsorships' and the financial doping it represents!

Long weekend ahead. ****s sake.
Leeds continue to school Frank and his Lampardistas, so everything else is gravy
