Di Canio considering his position at Swindle.

Not so easy trying to manage when you can't just keep on spending stupidly is it?

Maybe not well, but quickly, anyway. Bryan will tear us a new Arse, if you'll forgive an obvious pun.

Must admit I've never really ntoiced the boy before, but if he's half the signing Cazorla's been he'll go ok.

Three specialist left backs in a twenty five man squad is clearly one too many tho.
Not sure that Santos qualifies as a footballer let alone one who performs any specific role.

Wonder if either of them(Gibbs/Santos) will spend some time on the LW if we need to rest Lukas though

Would be quite keen to see Gibbs have a go there tbh. Not sure much would come of it, but it'd be an interesting experiment.

Imagine Santos would do a serviceable job also, but nothing remarkable.

Nah Gibbs isn't a winger. In my experience it's a lot tougher going from full-back to the wing than you might expect. Can't think of too many success stories- Bale is a notable exception- but even Dani Alves has been total poo when he's played on the wing.

Gibbs started out as a winger so technically he'd be going from winger to fullback to winger. Likewise Santos.

Nah, Arsene has had loads of success in converting full backs into wingers.

Freudian slip from Sissoko there. Didn’t kiss the badge but the sponsor Virgin Money.

Great game this.

Reading winning, Villa winning, just need the Toon to knick this and its a good day for football.

Newcastle cutting Chelsea open at will. Cahill and Cole are certain starters for England but they have been made to look like complete mugs here. Terry lovers will rejoice that he was flat on face for the second Toon goal.

Taylor's balls saved a certain goal there.

Great game. Shame about Padrew at the end. Guy is an ass.

Terry with his atrociously timed tackle basically gifted Newcastle a goal and a way back into the match. Until then Chelsea were bossing it.

It's a dream, but us winning and Tottenham losing would be great.

What a fantastic feeling it is to get late goals and win matches. PNE and that wretched bloke Westley beaten by the mighty Shrews. Get in.
