B-b-but remember that time he did well in Australia when Shane Watson was their only good batsman? That proves he's a great overseas bowler. Not the million other overseas games where he looks more toothless than a 102 year old grandma.
That's only cause he's British

Quoting this on the million to one shot of Dhoni winning another WC with a six next year as Jimmy watches the game from outside the dressing room.

More chance of you infracting/banning the right person than MSD lifting the WC next year Harsh. And Jimmy won't be watching the WC.......he'll be working hard preparing to chase down Kumbles record.

Kumble has 600+. You don't see us pretending he's some all time great on the level of Courtney Walsh or anything.
He probably is spin bowling’s Courtney Walsh tbh. Prolific and very good without the touch of genius which others have/ had.

But as you correctly point out, Anderson is basically **** without cloud cover.

theegyptian

International Vice-Captain
Apparently Foakes will bat at 8, with Ali at 7. Wouldn't have been my choice either.
It's kinda crazy if that happens. Foakes has been the best batsman on the England side in the series and yet he's going to be batting 8. Yes he's played well with the tail but he's also looked more capable than any of the other batsman in the team including Root imo. They are losing out on runs scored by batting him 8, especially with no Curran behind him to bat with. Ali has scored 23 runs across the series so far.

Flametree

International 12th Man
With Silva not playing, this will be the first time in a while that Sri Lanka have fewer wicket-keepers than their opponents...
