Rogers and Dussey both with centuries, reckon vics could make 1000 here if they really wanted to.

Awesome attacking knock from Duss, really this is the reason why I believe he can be a good test no.6 for Australia, in case North fails to perform in the longer run, and Symonds is not considered good enough to be picked.

Anyways, watching Doran bowl for the first time today, and despite the inconsistency in his bowling, looks pretty decent considering the Aussie spin stocks, and also seems to bowl a few good balls in between the all the rubbish he dishes up.

Rousing comeback from the Bulls at tail end of the day's play, was pretty good stuff from Symmo and Hopes with the second new-ball, and I think the Vics would be kicking themselves to throw away the advantage they had through a good part of day 1.

Had a brilliant time at the cricket. Just got there in time for both Hussey's and Rogers' tons. Should play all domestic cricket at the Junction, tbh.

Harwood to break down, miss tour of SA. Nannes and McKay to be undercooked, Wright to bowl 85 overs in the first innings.

Advantage Bulls at the end of day one. Without those last 2 wickets, it would have been Victoria's day definitely, but those two wickets swing it back our way. Would like to wrap them up well before lunch and then bat for 2 and a half days.
