Whatever you say about his overall performance in the series, Ashwin's come to the party twice and it might be the deciding factor it in.
Not only Ashwin; a bunch of guys have come good in clutch situations - Jadeja, Saha, Pujara, Lokesh opening the batting in almost all the innings so far, Yadav with some really good spells, and even Rahane had a crucial innings

If India win it will be not because they outplayed Australia over the 4 tests, but because they showed up and delivered when it was needed. Aus will regret leaving runs out there at the end of their first innings in the second test, will regret not getting more in the first dig here, and regret the odd sessions where their bowling went flat and let India back into it. Which just says a lot about how ****ing tough it is to beat these guys in their own backyard.

Game's not over yet tho. 77 on the board and 4 wickets in hand, even a 120-130 chase could be very challenging.

With a brain so big Ashwin should have Lyon's Mars Attacks sized skull
This presumes he's operating at the same levels as normal human beings, what Ashwin has done is not evolve the human mind but simply access more areas of the current human brain without increasing mass.

Quite simply, other people have the keys to the front door of the human brain. But Ashwin has the keys to the city. And most importantly the library.

Ashwin's lack of effort in the field just precludes me from actually liking him much, even if I appreciate his bowling in Indian conditions.

His brain is actually huge and efficient. You can't see it because it extends into different dimensions.

If aus go on to lose main reason will be warners incompetence throughout the series. A good opening partnership with renshaw would have made all the difference

Id say just stay out there and if he has to edge his way to a 150 lead then do it
Yeah, I guess I'm just thinking he could possibly hit a few boundaries and open the game up. Just feels like he's going nowhere and will get out soon like this. But if he can hang around that would be preferable.
