West Indies last ODI series win: August 2014.
Definitely not worth getting carried away over, but I have enjoyed the smart batting and the proactive approach in the field. The team selection was also much better, it feels like they are trying a logical formula out. It's been a long time coming. New captain, new coach. Results immediately.
A series win in over 5 years is worth a few bottles of beer on a Saturday morning.Definitely not worth getting carried away over, but I have enjoyed the smart batting and the proactive approach in the field. It makes a nice to change understand what the management is trying to do at least. It was truly woeful under the previous selectors. Let's call it the Ashley Nurse era.
Sunil Ambris should really be There. He must be close to starting ahead of Hety.A series win in over 5 years is worth a few bottles of beer on a Saturday morning.
We still have some holes and worrying signs brought over from the Ashley Nurse era. Hetmyer still is batting without a head. The rotation of strike is down a bit. We need to improve on that.
The formula is a simple one. One man setting down anchor and batting all innings.
I think we need that John Campbell in the mix as well. As a second option.
Yeah, I wouldn't mind him coming in the next game. Hetmyer is losing it man. Pooran is better than him.Sunil Ambris should really be There. He must be close to starting ahead of Hety.
Pooran is seriously good. He was the only man who made batting look easy in those conditions.Yeah, I wouldn't mind him coming in the next game. Hetmyer is losing it man. Pooran is better than him.
He always makes batting look easy tbh.Pooran is seriously good. He was the only man who made batting look easy in those conditions.
Definitely. He has had one innings on a tricky pitch against 2 excellent spinners. Let's see how he does in more innings.I think Windies cant drop Pollard he at least a specialist captain a mike brearly type figure
Sensible team selection. It has me really confused, I'm not used to common sense management of our cricket teams.Holder rested, Paul proving a good replacent. I expected afg to do better by batting first and got off to a good start but a collapse is now in progress
Basically the whole innings was like that. Afghanistan need to rotate the strike more, they're even worse than us.Pretty funny how Stanikazi hit 6 sixes but barely scraped a strike rate of 100. Must have been some serious block-bash stuff
