I mean if they somehow manage another 40 runs then they're definitely in the game

This pitch is definitely bad but I dunno how long the curator has been around to work on this and how many FC games he got etc. There are mitigating circumstances, but surely the pitch for the next test HAS to play better.

Ball turning on day 1 or the top half exploding etc. is just noise. If the pitch provides consistency then batsmen can adapt. And there should not be physical danger. This one fails on the consistency front.
