one of those games that you leave the stadium and dust off n never think of it again, save for the fact that two points is two points

I see Billy has invoked the memory of Paul Green when responding to Aaron Woods calling him a grub .

Given there doesn't seem to be any proof Green committed suicide because someone had called him names, you'd have to think it was a fairly poor judgement call on Slater's behalf.

Just realised he comes from Whangārei. WAFG. Hope he goes well.
He goes hard when he's fit and firing. He hasn't played this year yet iirc, but he's a big unit. Won't be surprised if he's shed a few kgs under Ryles, who seems to want a more mobile pack. Unless he's been injured, I'm surprised he hasn't had a few games tbh, given we let Joffa go and young Tuiavati is injured.

Decent use of the challenge there, exactly the type of decision it was brought in for. Directly leads to the first try as well.

Cleary to Luai and To'o scores. Surprised Crichton wasn't involved along the way.
Could say his knock-on led to the near immediate QLD knock on that then led to the challenge which led to the try, it's all clearly linked and should show as an assist by Creighton on the official scoresheet.

Ooo QLD from nothing get their first.
