Yes. Bart King the man who actually invented (discovered) the art of bowling in swing.
I read about him in 10 Great Bowlers which I had seen recommended on the Cricket Books thread. What a great player - and how amazing that he should have learned his cricket, and mostly played it, in the States.

Ok - fathers and sons playing in the same team in club cricket is pretty common but much less so in the first class game - I am aware of one occasion when both teams in a first class match had a father and son combination - I wont say its unique as I cant be certain but I will be surprised if it isn't - what game and who are the four relevant participants?
Did it take place after 1980?

I think I know the match in question - I was just buying some time while I summoned up the name of the Derbyshire pair. The Bestwicks, I think it was. Early 1920s ... I haven't found the reference to the match I was looking for, so if you'd be so good as to remind me ...
