Needs to score runs consistently though, one massive score is nice but that was his first ton since mid-2013 (ignoring the London runs count double rule). Needs to back it up with other scores.

A big nice 300 then for KP. Not that this will change a thing. He wasn't dropped for his batting. Whatever the exact reasons were for the ECB, those reasons have not gone anywhere.

lol @ Stapel... so many here said if he was serious about a comeback he will play a CC and score a ****load of runs.. He does that and then we get comments like the one above from Stapel.. damned if he does.. damned if he doesn't...

Haha yeah I actually agree with you. There were loads of comments here about how KP was **** now and how he doesn't deserve to get back in the team unless he gets county runs. Well, he still could be ****, but guess what, he's got runs and I'd hope those people would come out and admit that, atleast.

Ha ha, yeah. Same for all those saying "It's just county bowling". These were the people who were saying he has to prove himself against them in the first place.

After seeing Paul Downton take so much crap for the way he handled KP, Colin Grave's comments about open doors and now the media all over him after scoring 326, it'd take a real kind of special for Strauss to close the door on KP tonight.
