Is Sehwag the greatest batsman on subcontinent wickets?

Kohli didn't have to face Murali or Asif/Akthar but he averages 62 in Asia with 6 double centuries over 49 tests which is pretty epic.
I think he's had to contend with a significantly higher percentage of proper turners too.

Younis Khan has doubles and triples all over the region, including BAN and UAE where Sehwag was either below par or didn't play at all. Khan's case as the best batsman of the last twenty years is generally underrated when compared to others like Kallis and Sangakkara but in the SC especially he was as much of a colossus as there's been.
UAE isn't even in the subcontinent.

Jayawardena was pretty good at playing on wickets with uneven bounce. Shame he had such a pronounced weakness around the off stump could have been a legitimate ATG otherwise

Probably the best player of spin after Shewag and Sidhu from sub continent. Tested against all kinds of spin to MJs credit.

How did Shewag and Sidhu do in local matches against Kumble, who was the distinctly different spinner of the era from others?

Low bounce, sure. He was a bunny when it rose beyond knee height

Bradman. Let's be honest, he doesn't have to bat in Asia for us to make this calculation.
Interestingly, this thread shows the opposite, if anything.

Sehwag is so dominant, Bradmanesque in Pakistan, and awesome in Asian conditions and yet struggles outside.

Sehwag only averages 57.39 in Asia. There's no chance he's a better batsman than Bradman in those conditions. Be realistic.

You're saying he's being unrealistic while you claim someone who never played in a region would be the undisputed best in those conditions. Well played.

Bradman averaged about 100, so I'm confident he's better than Sehwag in Asia..

I mean no, he isn't. Strong guesses are just guesses in the end when one person never played there. Might as well have said Bradman would average 20 in SC conditions, both are equally valid hypotheticals.

Bradman averaging 20 in SC is like a 50 average batsman averaging 10. You are giving a hypothetical that Bradman is the worst batsman by far changing conditions to Asia in test history. All I'm assuming is Bradman would be better than Sehwag in Asia. Not that he would average 500. Which is the same difference as him averaging 20 with a 100 overall average. You can continue trolling though, doesn't effect me.

If you want to make unquestionable statements then have more than guesswork. Otherwise don't say anything. I don't see how pushing back at Bradman being good in a place he never played in is trolling.

It was a strange thing to even bring up. Just leave it at that.
