The lack of ambition from the Saudis is just so awful.

Surely once you go a goal behind after ten minutes it's time for plan B that doesn't involve lining up two banks of four still. But no, seem very happy with things.

Not that it's working, if Martinez could time a run they'd be needing snookers already.

Admittedly we've only seen half their representatives, but based on the evidence so far it looks like Asian football has fallen off a cliff.

Asian football in dire need of rethink. Saudia of 94 looks like 58 Brazil to the teams they have put out in last 20 years.

I hope sub cont starts taking football seruously the standard is not out of reach to qualify from Asia if proper effort is made at grass roots consistently for a decade.
