Funny old game cricket; Taylor the hero v Oz has possibly given us the box seat with that over.

Unforgiveably sloppy work to turn that thrid ball into two tho; just amateur stuff.

Went at over 6 an over and grabbed two late-in-the-day wickets?

I'd go for Gayle even if England win to be fair, it'd harsh not to.

47.1 Bravo to Mahmood, 1 leg bye, oh ho! Umpire Taufel gives a legbye but that looked pretty plumb. :@ :@ :@

Stupid umpires robbing us of our glory. Groan, groan, moan, groan.

Pietersen to get MoM.

KP please get 5 of the 7 required. PLEASE!

For him to come so close to 89 and then run out of runs would hurt. :(

Is that aimed at Mahmood who bowled a superb spell at the end of today's game then?
Oh come on he was walloped when it mattered and only picked up a couple of wickets towards the end because they were slogging.

He is considered an attacking option but in 15 matches has never taken more than 3 wickets and more often than not goes at more than a run a ball as he seems incapable of delivering more than one accurate ball in succession.

Bit disappointing from Lara although the commentators were abit too harsh. Should have had a touch higher score, but England will never make 272 in a million years.
Really Pasag?

Duncan Fletcher and co are shamelessly insistent upon on selecting anyone tall and quick and 'developing' them into international standard bowlers even when the talent is clearly not there. It is nothing short of a disgrace to see bowlers representing England that do not have the talent to deliver a straight ball. IMO, we will never improve in ODI until we stop ignoring more effective, slower bowlers.
Well Lewis should be playing every game, that much is obvious. I do however think most of the problem lies with the batting, England have been knocked out of the CT because of their batting basically. ODIs are a batsman's game anyway so most of the responsibility does lie with them, unfortunately most of England's batsmen either lack a brain or don't seem to want to take responsibility or both.
