Pressure factor

((population)*(no. of overs in game)*(no. of effigies burned during career)*/((no. of ATG players in team)*(GDP per capita)))

Checked the numbers and this is quite accurate
Agreed with this formula which proves there's basically no pressure in T20s

Early career Steve Waugh’s late innings bowling in ODIs should be mentioned. They called him the Iceman because of how good he was at it back in the day.

Tendulkar has done reasonably well in world cup knockouts minus the finals but looks like finals alone count in his case. Kohli has played one world cup final and scored a 30 odd but is a choker on the basis of what he has done in semis. How does this work?

This whole attempt to figure out who is clutch who is choker based on 2-3 games is where you get fooled by randomness.

Equally wrong is Dhoni being awarded recognition as clutch player based on his world cup final innings ignoring his pretty bad failures in quarters and semi on fair few occasions. There's so much randomness in this kind of assessment.

There is nothing random about Burgey or stephen's posting here. You cannot confuse blind bias with randomness.

Dhoni faded in later years in terms of getting india across the line, as noted a lot on here, but he was amazing at it for give or take ten years, incl the 2011 WC final. Very tough to put his clutch record in the same category as Tendulkar’s imho.
