This is fantastic news, would love to see more of this.

Not sure how many other ex-test players are linked with associates, but I am all for this happening as much as it possibly can. Can't see any negatives about it.

Amjad Khan, who England capped for some reason in the West Indies in 2009, is Danish by birth.

Jamie Dalrymple was born in Nairobi, and like Jones is unlikely to hear from the England selectors again.

Kenya though, have had a policy of only selecting those who were based there full-time - not that it's done them much good.

They picked Aga - as a specialist batsman for some reason - in their T20 team recently and I'm pretty sure he's still not based in Kenya full-time.

Always liked him as a player to be honest. Rather feel he never made the best of his abilities somehow.
Depends how you assess it really. Geraint could play all the shots it was his shot selection that let him down. He'd just randomly try to pull a fullish length ball or drive at a shortish ball - for his reason I could see him not doing quite as well for PNG as people expect. I guess he did reasonably well with his keeping where he probably didn't have much talent.
