I'm quite interested to find out where Cummins ends up. He's the Steyn of this contest - If he keeps going on the same trajectory he's probably top 10 but he'll languish in the 20s in this contest.

Said everybody about the flavour of the week player ever. Remember the Rabada conversations about a year ago, when he was taking 5.x wickets per match.

Legends are not born overnight. What made Mcgath (at least close to if not better) the best was his durability.

Try not to use double standards

That's why I qualified it with "If he keeps going". At the last fast bowler survivor contest Steyn was at a similar point in his career to Cummins and I think was ranked 27 overall. Rabada is probably underrated in this particular poll. If he retired tomorrow he'd be rated higher than what he has been here IMO.

Slightly invidious comparing a chap who's (hopefully) barely a quarter through his career with guys who've finished theirs, but if he stays fit (that "if" is bearing an awful lot of weight though) Big Paddy might be above DKL & Wasim come (I dunno) 2028.

Lot of time for Snowy, any Albion bowler who spearheads a win Down Under automatically moves into the "legends" category IMHO, but he's copped a roughie here.

Given I haven't counted the votes yet I'll accept it.
