england gotta shout loud and proud about the one position they are legit jets in.
WERE not ARE. The law of averages might have finally caught up with England - 3 amazing openers plus the likes of Boycott, WG, Gooch, Cook, Amiss, Stewart, Vaughan, Trescothick, Strauss etc and now struggling to get openers to average 30. Although as a Kiwi who remembers the dark days of the 1990s basically pre Matt Horne and the time post Mark Richardson in the 2000s until Latham arrived, I can't laugh at England.
