I'll just add Sutcliffe after Gavaskar or Gavaskar after Sutcliffe depending on who gets third - and then Boycott in 5th just in case the places get called while I'm asleep after missing out on the first round vote while grabbing a mere six hours kip. :tooth:

Are we ranking the openers according to just their batting ability, or as the complete cricketer.

For example, Bob Simpson or Eddie Barlow maybe ranked a bit higher because they were useful bowlers and exception fieldsman.
