I'll go Khan, Warne, Ambrose, McGrath. That seems a good last four to me.
So my vote for this position is Imran Khan.

Imran, Hadlee, Marshall (going by reputation, never seen him bowl, but everyone seems to rate him. Of those I've seen, I would go for McGrath) and Murali/Warne.

I can't understand people's aversion to having all-rounders opening the attack.

Botham, Dev, Hadlee and Khan all opened the bowling for their teams on a good number of times and why bother with specialist bowlers that won't add many runs anyway?

The only position that would need a specialist would be the spinner and that's only because i can't think of great spinning all-rounder.

Having a bowling attack of say Imran Khan, Botham, Hadlee, Warne, Sobers would make many batsmen wet themselves and have bowlers cursing the extra work they would need to do to get rid of the "tail".

Hadlee, superb bowler, utterly reliable, and one of the great thinkers of getting men out, really tough but Imran would not make my side. Which is probably a travesty, but ho-hum

damn guys this is looking really close between imran khan and richard hadlee. i think we should all compromise and agree that they should be voted in as a pair, imran at 8 and hadlee at 9. follow that with warne/murali and marshall/mcgrath.
