Can't FIeld XI

International Coach
RP Singh is good in the field, just had a few shockers of late. Ganguly's improved quite a bit in his comeback, though he might still make it.

You forgot our All Time Great Wicket keeper " KAMRAN AKMAL" for his brilliant keeping.
He should be the first to make this list.

Yeah thinking about it Kamran would have to be the wicketkeeper, not Prior or Dasgupta. Not only is he worse over a longer time period, he's also - apparently - STILL Pakistan's first-choice wicketkeeper. Prior, mercifully, isn't, and Dasgupta hasn't been for years.

Ntini's not that bad, he's slightly below average at worst. He's got a rocket of an arm, so isn't bad to have on the outfield by any means. I don't actually remember him dropping much.

Harris, on the other hand, inspires Paul Adams-like dread every time he approaches the ball. I'm always worried he'll somehow contrive to bugger it all up. Has gotten much better though, but still, Harro hovering under a high catch is a bit of a nervous wait.

Ntini is interesting as he is a good athlete but has no coordination. He is hidden every game. He seriously struggles to pick up a ball that isnt moving and the ball bounces at right angles of him.

As for not droping catches, well he is hidden where the ball seldom comes but when it does this and this can happen

Patrick Browne with the gloves. He just does not look like a natural wicketkeeper at all, and seems lazy at times.

From current players, lets make an XI of the worst fielders.

Ill suggest Vaughan and Ntini with Prior keping wicket.

There must be a number of possible Indians but I dont know which are the worst.

EDIT- From posts below

1.
2. Vaughan
3. Ganguly
4. Mohammed Yousuf
5.
6. Prior
7.
8.
9. Ntini
10. Munaf Patel
11. Panesar
I assume, the idea is to make it as good a side as possible in other disciplines (except fielding) in which case great bowlers like Chandrashekhar, Prasanna and Courtney Walsh should be close to the top.

To be perfectly honest I should be added to that team because I cannot field to save myself in real life.

Prior over Geraint Jones? I think not.
Apart from the fact Geraint (thankfully) isn't a current player any more, he's actually a far better wicketkeeper these days than Prior is, thanks to Jack Russell.

As I say though - Kamran Akmal is easily the worst of those currently playing.
