Yeah. Don Tallon is one of my most useful picks imo. Scored less than 400 test runs but still looks an okay 7 imo

Highest balance gets to pick first.
I actually did have the idea to work out every round on this basis - to try and encourage the picking of ‘expensive’ players and people taking a risk with their budgets.

Also thought about a ‘half price’ round along with a ‘double price’ one too.

Happy to take feedback on the ideas for down the line.

Apologies I’ve been an absent draft organiser. Had an awful lot go on these past few weeks.

Both excellent ideas IMO, particularly the first one. It encourages people to play conservatively at first and then chase the expensive players later. However, someone might just pick all the best expensive players early and still end up with a better team. Either way, it's a good way for drafters to be more strategic with their picks so it'll be more fun.

Ian Bishop (43 tests, 632 runs, 161 wickets)
Dennis Lillee (70 tests, 905 runs, 355 wickets)

Not unhappy with this effort. No passengers in the team at all, every player is more than capable of holding his own. Perhaps lacking a fifth bowling option but I'm comfortable that Lillee, Bishop, CTB and Jadeja can do the job. Batting top six is elite talent, and Zoehrer and Jadeja (and CTB) are capable of hanging around and scoring a few at 7-9.

My team so far:

Matches - 313
Runs - 14866
Wickets - 346

Not going to get anywhere near my budget, I was probably too stingy early
