1. Best player under 25 - Yeah have to agree with others and go Asif, don't see many others setting the world alight atm.
2. Best player 30-35 - Yousef, will go Ponting in later category.
3. Best player 35+ - Lara, nearly Murali in a couple of months.
4. Best player overall - Ponting
5. Best fielder - Symonds without a doubt.
6. Favorite player Mike Hussey, love him.
7. Favorite player under 25 - Sreesanth
8. Favorite player 30-35 - Stuart Clark. Am liking his humility and quietness atm.
9. Favorite player 35+ - Matthew Hayden, really because other people don't like him tbh.

I was more questioning how you can suggest that a thread like this is pointless, where its just a bit of fun where we can learn what some other members' thing of other players, yet you can go on about drivel for pages and pages with TEC, and apparently that's absolutely gold.

What would be interesting if there was one done last year (I dont know if there was) and we could see how peoples opinions and favourites change over short periods.

One would imagine Flintoff would have featured heavily last year but is non-existent this year.
