So wait, do we vote for the ****tiest player? Or is the winner the least ****tiest player out of all the ****ty players?
You vote for the worst player in battles of two. Same format as other one's on the forum just that you vote for the worst player at of the two.

Bill Playle- Specialist bat av 10 in 8 tests and 20 in FC
to paraphrase his cricinfo bio- A surprise choice for one of the weakest teams in history.

Nicky Boje- Over 40 a wicket in tests over a long career
Poor mans 'Ashley Giles'. Damn, thats harsh

His batting makes up for any deficit in bowling IMO - at least in comparison to Ashley Giles.

First one sounds ripe and Boje's useless, so they can go in.

If Batty merits selection then why not Richard Dawson, and if Playle deserves a place then surely so does Noel McGregor?

If there is a few places to go himself and Murray Chapple can have it.

Im not saying he shouldnt be there (as av less than 20 and part of that weak NZ team means he is a likely candidate) but figures wise he averages twice what Playle did and he has a test century.

To be fair the batting difference is not that much. They also both have the same number of 50s in Tests (4). I generally focus on Tests so I dont really look at OD stuff.

He still is a specialist bowler and he averages less than 2.5 wkts a test and over 42 a wicket.

Yea, anyone who has taken a five-for or scored a century should be disqualified IMO.

Not workable IMO, Sami has taken a test fifer (two in fact).

I'm off for the night now, just leave your suggestions and I'll add them tomorrow- Silent suggest some of your Indian heroes. Think we had enough Englishmen though!

Ramps in yet? Specialist bat who played more than 50 tests & averaged less than 28.
I’ve debated this but credit to him he does have a pretty decent record against Australia and was he truly ****e? I would say no though as you say lot of test matches, poor average and not a lot of runs would beg to differ.
