Yeah this is the most consistently accurate I have seen Morris bowl, encouraging signs

The WA attack have been on it all day so far in general. Only Hardie arguably was a little bit loose

Interesting that WA are playing youngsters Wylie & Fanning in the Shield team over D'arcy Short & Ashton Turner

Shaun Marsh went down with a dodgy knee, so they wanted to replace him with some other young talent

Seriously though, Wyllie is THE hyped young player in the WA setup at the moment, hardly surprising they are looking to give him game time. Fanning a bit more puzzling, may just be a case of not really trusting any of the established WA middle order bats to move up to 3

I mean short has been a #7 spin all-rounder is the same vein as will jacks for a while, no? Turner definitely could have done it though.

Starting to look like Short & Turner might get pigeon-holed as white-ball specialists, as well as Stoinis most likely. Funny because a few other states would love to have them.

I thought the selection of Rocciciollo was interesting too given you wouldn't expect them to need his bowling much and Short could probably do nearly as good a job as a 5th bowler to give your quicks a rest.

Ashton Turner on the other hand chucks it, I wouldn't want to see him bowling a lot of overs at this level. Think he's got a ****ed shoulder anyway, unless that's an excuse to avoid bowling because he knows he'll get banned from it

Just realised this was on. Is that pitch even cut? Looks like they just stuck the stumps in the outfield. Shame Richardson isn't playing, probably would've picked up another eight-for.

Favorable conditions, but it'd be nice if Morris could kick on from here. He's got real pace but not shown the control.

I wouldn't say "favorable conditions", looked like a very balanced pitch. Wasn't a lot of swing out there for the WACA and it wasn't jagging off the pitch more than usual

That was a perfect delivery from Dwarshuis to start his career though. (edit: then bowled the next 5 on the pads trying to bowl the same magic ball again lol)
