This so true. It's peak 2020 (or 2021) to get offended on behalf of other people who really couldn't care less themselves.

Not sure how Hogg himself or the general "ADD population" (if such is a thing) think about it but I'd be surprised if they care half as much as 45 year old Karen writing a strongly worded email to Fox Sports does.

the go is, moises in for wade at 5 next series as a pure batsman, inherits captaincy from paine when paine hangs it up, while awaiting a marnus or a green to get leadership experience at state level to inherit the captaincy from moises when he in turn hangs up his boots

Fox’s stump mics were picking up a lot of chatter yesterday. Marnus gets told to shut up a lot by his teammates (it all sounded good banter between the lads, Marnus was laughing and playing in t).

May have also been a subtle jab at Warne and Roy, I dunno.

I think it was a none to subtle jab at them, following on from the day before when the players knew the coverage was taking the stump mic and they deliberately mentioned the Hogg Pile to Marnus, prompting Mark Howard to quickly tell the producers on Fox to dump the mic. Was actually pretty good from the players - made it clear they are pissed at what was said and it hadn't gone unnoticed.

i think that he should be given that both head and harris are utterly useless, and that if usman comes back he should be an opener tbh

i wouldn't say that he is, but if i was the selector i would go the moises route.

I think Carey straight in as captain is not unrealistic, but reckon the odds are more in favour of Cummins C, Carey VC, and then Cummins resigning the first time he misses a tour and Carey taking over
