That's a freakingly outstanding bowling attack. Will just about run through any batting side Bradman included (by Bradman standards of course)

Had a quick check and these two picks can't conflict with anyone. So nightie night......:)

R10 = Bedi
R11 = Majid

01. Graham Gooch (42.58)
02. Majid Khan (38.92)
03. Viv Richards (50.23)
04. Neil Harvey (48.42)
05. John R. Reid * (33.28)
06. Trevor Bailey (29.74)
07. Ken Wadsworth + (21.48)
08. Sylvester Clarke (15.63)
09. Michael Holding (13.78)
10. Bishan Bedi (8.98)
11. Bhagwath Chandrasekhar (4.07)

Not sure why ***** didn't pick either when he could have, Draft going way too slow this late in the piece.
Cheeky, but well done. Unique bowling attack, the poetry of Holding and Bedi, complemented by the Sylvers' ruthlessness, and Chandra's genius

I like the batting too tbh. Not the most efficient one, maybe, but Macartney, Lara and KP will be flat out fun.

yeah batting is decent but that bowling attack.

All of Imran, Trueman, Larwood, and Schultz were scarily quick at their peak. And McGill is arguably the biggest turner of the ball the game has ever known (for leg spin bowling)

It's a great bowling attack. All bowlers the type to run through the opposition. Imagine having Schultz as third change bowler. Kinda like having Johnson as third change. Would knock the wind out of any line-up.

yeah, with that 3rd change i am sure some of the opposition will have a "broken ****ing arm"

On second thoughts, on account of batting depth, will go for Chris Read. The best modern English wicket-keeper, along the lines of Bob Taylor, and a much better batsman.

You should never discount a class batsman, not even an average one, as they are always capable of resisting the best and nastiest of bowlers. I've randomly found a few successful series for my batsman, and I'm sure everyone else could do the same or similar for their team.

Graham Gooch 1981 series v West Indies: Average = 57.50
Bowlers: Marshall, Holding, Garner, Croft

Majid Khan 1977 series v West Indies: Average = 53.00
Bowlers: Roberts, Garner, Croft, Julien

Viv Richards 1981 series v Pakistan: Average = 72.58
Bowlers: Imran, Sarfraz, Qadir, Qasim

Neil Harvey 1961 series v England: Average = 42.25
Bowlers: Trueman, Statham, Allen, Illingworth

John R Reid 1960/61 series v South Africa: Average = 60.66
Bowlers: Pollock, Adcock, Heine

Trevor Bailey 1954/55 series v Australia: Average = 37.00
Bowlers: Lindwall, Miller, Davidson, Johnston,

As always, the best teams are those who strike a happy balance between their batting and bowling, such that they can make reasonable totals and defend them by counter attacking no matter what the conditions or circumstances demand.

EDIT: Quite surprised to find that Harvey was either a bit of a minnow basher, or more at home against quality spin rather than quality pace. At least, that's my impression after a brief look at his series averages.
