BTW, haven't been in the office much this week, so haven't had a chance to congratulate you for Sunday. Well deserved win, but felt a little bit hard done by, A, as I felt I had the edge on the ratings, and B, as it was one of those games where the score doesn't really tell the full story. An eight wicket margin tends to suggest I was thrashed, whereas I thought we bottled you up quite effectively, and we might have had a chance had I possessed someone better than Edworthy to throw at youfor the death overs. But Canning was the difference between the sides, so well done.
Yeah, I was quite surprised that I did win that, given that you clearly had the better batting ratings. Was helped massively by Erasmus coming in and taking your last four wickets in 5 balls, and as you said, Canning really did make the difference between the two sides. In terms of bowling at the death, have you tried finishing it off with one of your spinners? Obviously you'd have to use a different type of bowling orders (maybe sets of 5 or something), but I know I was pretty happy that it was Edworthy bowling at the end.

Oh and Adam, have you seen an old friend is on the transfer market? Sterling Gillespie. Bit rich for me at £1.5M, but he's getting to the age whereby you could ramp up his secondaries and make him a tidy player - Though probably not at your level.
Cheers for the tip off Trev, although I'm not expecting my bid to win.

Just watching Smith's game, his new look batting line up is on fire:

End of Over 11: 35-8, runrate=3.18
Crawford 1-0-4-2
Hodge* 15 (22 balls)
Seneviratne 0 (0 balls)

Last Wicket: Pryde c. Humphreys b. Crawford 3 (FOW: 35/8)

Now thats one way to get relegated.

End of Over 15: 36-7, runrate=2.40
Norris 3-0-15-2
Wild* 6 (14 balls)
Pierce 7 (6 balls)

Norris just took two in an over, but is leaking runs. This is the first time I've had a green pitch at home, and it's been working really well so far, all the fast bowlers have gone well.

Whoa! Did that just happen to anyone else? My game just finished itself, jumping from the 15th over to the very end

Anyway, was an easy win in the end

The Good Warriors 71 (34.4)
Norris 4/23 (7.4), Canning 3/9 (10), Fernando 2/12 (5)

Magical Ponies 0/72 (7.3)
Kilkenny 44* (29), Griffin 26* (17)

Magical Ponies The Good Warriors
Top Order: proficient worthless
Middle Order: competent abysmal
Lower Order: abysmal feeble
Seam Bowling: proficient worthless
Spin Bowling: respectable abysmal
Fielding: abysmal feeble
MOTM: Kilkenny

First time I've got a decent middle order rating with the proficient top order.

It`s another comp for me to be smashed in, but I`m indeed looking forward to it. Should be interesting to see if any CW teams get paired together. Smith and Rodgie, Cameron and Rodgie, Anyone and Rodgie... the possibilities go on.

Rodgie in England not Australia like those other two.

I`m sure the good people at BT would see through those minor flaws in order to create some healthy competition... :p

Rodgie, why did you choose England?
