All Time New Zealand XI game

Red

The normal awards that everyone else has
Sutcliffe
Martin Crowe
McCullum (line ball on him and BJ)
Boult (Bond a better bowler, but as someone said, with Hadlee, Cowie and Chris Cairns likely to make it, a left armer makes sense)

Sutcliffe
Crowe
Watling+
Wagner

With Cowie and Hadlee taking the new rock, and Cairns expected to make the side, he'd bowl first change and then Wagner second change. Left arm variety and can get the old ball bouncing. Perfect foil for the others.

John Reid bowled both offies and pace and was probably the better batsman with more responsibility against some pretty good attacks. I think he should fill the allrounder and spinner role.

- Name a batting option at 5 for NZ
- Select the final cricketer to fit into the NZ all time XI

If it's a geen pitch, Hadlee and Bull Cowie are going to bowl LOTS of overs, no need for a 4th seamer. If it's a flat / brown pitch, Reid's off cutters and off spin would be useful than a 4th seamer.

The other option at #7 is a an attacking spinner who can bat / hit, John Bracewell could have been an option if he had scored a few more test runs, Roger Blunt could have been an option if he NZ had started playing tests earlier than 1929-30 (on the 1927 FC tour to Engalnd he had 1540 runs @ 44, 78 wickets with leg spin @ 25, and was one of Wisden's 5 cricketers of the year).
