Batted Denly. Looked far better than the bloke at the other end tbh

So well deserved. What a spell this is by Haze.

This has been a really, really, really good day of Test cricket. Probably the highest quality of the series not involving Smith.

What a crazy passage of play. Haze's return to form has been like a wet dream. Wouldn't get that with the other 2 sitting out.

Stokes a good guy to come out, still going to be very interesting tomorrow if these two make it to stumps

Could see that one coming a mile off. Great pressure from Lyon and Hazlewood. Excellent from Australia but Denly didn't play that particularly well.

Enough time tonight to get the new ball befor stumps? Be nice to get two cracks with it.

This test match is like a truncated version of the Adelaide match from the last series down under, Eng fall well behind on first innings but peg it back a bit in the 2nd leaving them with an unlikely but doable chase, Root and a doughty upstart make a good fist of it in a long afternoon/evening partnership but eventually succumb to an excellent spell of bowling.

What remains to be seen is whether they fall over tomorrow or not
