Could be close to a dead rubber if SL lose today. Again, hoping for another solid performance with the ball and for someone to play a long innings not a cameo. I'd stick to the same team basically, give Allen another chance, he was unlucky to be given lbw and bowled okish.

Yeah, definitely a dead rubber if SL lose today. One of Pak-BD definitely getting to 9 points at least.

SL can still get to 10 points if they lose today.
Yeah, so we are yet to see a complete dead rubber in the tournament, isn't it? Even SA vs AFG when it happened was relevant for SA's chances to making it to top 4.

No, SL are out as even 10 points mean they lose on total wins which is first criteria (Eng have 5, SL would have 4 max)

On the basis of one win over England who always have the tendency to lose to a weak team in every WC, SL suddenly came to prominence. They are still a poor team who might surprise a stronger opponent on their day.

Will go with West Indies for today. Man to man, they are better than SL. Looking forward to Cottrell's salutes.

Sri Lanka are out already because they can’t get five wins. Being on 10 points with four wins would still see them knocked out without considering NRR.
