Those who rate Ashwin tend to rate spinners as better than pacers, and also: the spinner vote is quite constrained by the pacer vote (and vice versa). Hence the spinner vote here sort of condenses down into Ashwin v not Ashwin (a position for which there are a lot of candidates), when that wouldn't necessarily be the case on a spinner poll (as long as that poll wasn't just counting first choices, a process by which Ash wins pretty easily).

Yeah but that's not necessarily inaccurate. Surely part of the point of this poll is to see how people rate spinners as compared to pacers.

Just need to clarify are we listing the best at their peak or their career as a whole . I listed them at their peak for a Callander year .if this is for their entire career my list will change .

All of these have already been voted into the Top 18 (see post 274). Too late to change.
We are currently voting to fill positions 19-21.
Voting is generally done over a career but each voter is entitled to their own interpretation.
