  1. Burgey

    3rd Test (Lord’s) - 10 July to 14 July

India have been excellent since lunch. Australia-like relentlessness. And sure enough, England are becalmed. They simply can't cope with a decent level of consistent bowling.
  2. Burgey

    3rd Test (Lord’s) - 10 July to 14 July

Old bloke telling Tendulkar to sit the **** down so he can see the game. Looks a bit of argy bargy going on
  3. Burgey

    3rd Test (Lord’s) - 10 July to 14 July

Makes you realize how bog average the other nine England blokes must be, given their results.
  4. Burgey

  8. Burgey

    3rd Test (Lord’s) - 10 July to 14 July

Sadly quite right. My mistake. What happens when you think wishfully. Was Alec Stewart who didn't get one. Gee this is a terrific spell from Reddy.
  9. Burgey

    3rd Test (Lord’s) - 10 July to 14 July

Fantastic to see that footage of Atherton run out for 99 in the 1993 series. One of the great highlights of that decade's cricket. Sums up English cricket - almost there, but never quite. Never made an Ashes ton either.
  10. Burgey

    3rd Test (Lord’s) - 10 July to 14 July

It really is the two paced nature of this pitch on the first few days which ****s you over. It's almost impossible to get a stagger right for your cordon when you've got some bouncing in front of you and others coming at head height. Makes batting very tough too.
  11. Burgey

    3rd Test (Lord’s) - 10 July to 14 July

    Steve Smith to comment.
  12. Burgey

    3rd Test (Lord’s) - 10 July to 14 July

Christ, what is Pope doing here? Terrible batting.
  13. Burgey

    3rd Test (Lord’s) - 10 July to 14 July

That was a fine delivery tbf. It took a player of Crawley's class to get a feather on it.
  14. Burgey

    3rd Test (Lord’s) - 10 July to 14 July

Lol he could have easily had three in the over.
  15. Burgey

    3rd Test (Lord’s) - 10 July to 14 July

Jeez they're a convincing batting line up.
  16. Burgey

Gee Ben Duckett has really reverted to mean after that recent purple patch, hasn't he?
  17. Burgey

    3rd Test (Lord’s) - 10 July to 14 July

Thought this started tomorrow night for some reason. Nice to have a good mid-table clash to watch.
