    2nd Test (Edgbaston) - July 2nd

Edit: and of course, they lack all the natural attributes required to excel at the top level. Of anything

    2nd Test (Edgbaston) - July 2nd

Joe Root certainly has questions to answer. In all seriousness though, England has looked completely clueless as soon as the ball has deviated more than a millimetre. It’s why they prep flat decks - they lack the temperament and technique to survive and prosper in difficult conditions.
  3. Burgey

    2nd Test (Edgbaston) - July 2nd

    Don’t lie. No you wouldn’t
  4. Burgey

    2nd Test (Edgbaston) - July 2nd

Ouch. Inside of the knee there for Brook wouldn’t have tickled
  6. Burgey

    2nd Test (Edgbaston) - July 2nd

This is outside the line I think. Not really playing anything resembling a cricket shot though hahahahahaha no. **** off FTB myth
  7. Burgey

    2nd Test (Edgbaston) - July 2nd

Of course, they’re the side Aus smashed easily even with Bumrah on deck just six months ago. Certainly bodes for another whitewash this coming Ashes series.
  8. Burgey

    2nd Test (Edgbaston) - July 2nd

Brook has had a Marnusesque run of luck to start his career. Going to be very deflating for England fans when it ends from November. hahahaha Aldi Ian Bell gone

*Official* Australia Tour of West Indies 2025

Yeah he’s been fantastic tbh. And looks a cut above everyone on tough pitches even now. although it came during his lean patch, that 90 odd he made in Brisbane when WI won there last tour was as good an innings on a crap deck against quality bowling as you could see. He was playing a different game

*Official* Road to the 2025-26 Ashes

So does Australia. This'll be the usual England in Aus drubbing, with Pommy supporters assuming the usual position in the ****old chair by day three of the first test to watch all the action, as was predicted on one of their own podcasts just last week.

    Offical Rugby League Thread

Jeez the Canterbury bubble has properly burst, as we all knew it would. They'll battle to make the top four I reckon. Already had three byes. I think they're gone. And if they do make the top four they'll go out in straight sets as they deserve to. Gone G O N E O N E ****ed
  12. Burgey

    2nd Test (Edgbaston) - July 2nd

It’s true. I’ve seen this man wrap his choppers around a steak. Genuine fast bowler material. One of the greats.
  13. Burgey

    2nd Test (Edgbaston) - July 2nd

420 in front with six in hand and a day and a half to come is substantially more than decent shale
  14. Burgey

    2nd Test (Edgbaston) - July 2nd

They’re no worse than this bloke tbh. He’s been thrown to the wolves really. He just isn’t ready for this level. Just have to hope this phase of his career doesn’t ruin him long term
  15. Burgey

    2nd Test (Edgbaston) - July 2nd

England would kill for the WI bowling attack, let alone Australia’s. They won’t be getting made to measure featherbeds either. It’s going to be a very sobering experience.
  16. Burgey

    2nd Test (Edgbaston) - July 2nd

Nah Willis was a fine bowler but Fraser was better
  17. Burgey

    2nd Test (Edgbaston) - July 2nd

Fraser was the best Pommy bowler since John Snow. Was a shame injuries crueled him.
  18. Burgey

    2nd Test (Edgbaston) - July 2nd

You don’t seriously think England is a chance of winning the Ashes here do you? Come on
  19. Burgey

    2nd Test (Edgbaston) - July 2nd

Yeah but you’re saying he’s comparable to a bloke who’s put away a ton better bowlers home and away, for longer and in harder conditions. That’s not comparable.
