  1. Burgey

Joe Root isn't fit to carry Viv Richards' jockstrap, let alone Allan Border's. If you think he's a better player than either of those blokes then you've had a significant cerebral event and should sit still so the aneurysm in your frontal lobe doesn't completely rupture while I call an ambulance...
  2. Burgey

    3rd Test (Lord’s) - 10 July to 14 July

Both those teams consistently hit the seam. Means the ball doesn't lose shape as quickly.
  3. Burgey

    3rd Test (Lord’s) - 10 July to 14 July

The Duke balls these days are much like the England test side - there for a good time rather than a long one.

He's miles behind Hayden as a player and as a human. And as I said, Hayden isn't an all-timer in either category. Root is a trier, and sure, by England standards he's great. But let's be honest, those standards awfully low.
  5. Burgey

    3rd Test (Lord’s) - 10 July to 14 July

What was that other one, The Kumars at Blatant Racist Stereotypes or something? England, like Joe Root, certainly has questions to answer.

He is inferior to Hayden. By miles. And Hayden isn't an all timer.
  7. Burgey

    3rd Test (Lord’s) - 10 July to 14 July

Hasn't shared his thoughts on Love Thy Neighbour yet.
  8. Burgey

    3rd Test (Lord’s) - 10 July to 14 July

They do when they choose the replacement.
  9. Burgey

    3rd Test (Lord’s) - 10 July to 14 July

Your blokes keep getting out. That's worth 1.5 overs tbf.
  10. Burgey

    3rd Test (Lord’s) - 10 July to 14 July

    Indeed. Big Quiney areas.
  11. Burgey

    3rd Test (Lord’s) - 10 July to 14 July

He's on 16 mate. This is Rob Quiney's 9-level posting at this stage.

    3rd Test (Lord’s) - 10 July to 14 July

Gee Ben Stokes has reverted to mean after that little run of decent form, hasn't he?
  14. Burgey

    3rd Test (Lord’s) - 10 July to 14 July

Understandable when you remember how Warne's toe nail affected him in India.
  15. Burgey

    3rd Test (Lord’s) - 10 July to 14 July

I asked him. He said Steve Smith is better

    The only contender…
  17. Burgey

    3rd Test (Lord’s) - 10 July to 14 July

Makes them everywhere against everyone. Best since Braddles
  18. Burgey

    3rd Test (Lord’s) - 10 July to 14 July

Yeah he’s been great the past 12 months really. Good to see him straight back into it after this broken finger with that 70 odd in Grenada last week too. Still scores runs on tough tracks and against good attacks where other pretenders like Root and Brook only dream of doing so.
