  • It's more of a pamphlet than a book - its a "biography" of Collie Smith titled The Happy Warrior by Ken Chaplin
Taking your location at face value I wonder if you can help me - I'm trying to get hold of an obscure book that was published in Jamaica in 1960 or thereabouts, but I can't find a single secondhand bookshop in the Caribbean that is contactable by email - are you aware of any? Hope you can help!
Hi kyear. It appears that H4G has been banned. Therefore, would you like to over? Ambrose and Waqar have been picked so far.
Hi Sir, I just wanted to say that I'm sorry if I have offended you in the best cricketers thread. I didn't mean to. You are a good poster and I respect you.
in terms of talent I don't think Wasim has any peers (maybe Michael Holding). He could do anything with the ball and was so damn skilled that no wonder all his peers rate him so well. Having said that Imran was the pioneer and there wouldn't be any Akram had there been no Imran. Imran had that single minded doggedness to succeed which made up for the lack of talent and which made him the only bowler in the 200 year history of the game who started off as a medium pacer (not even medium fast) and became a genuine tear away quick. At his peak he could decimate line ups single handedly and for these qualities I would rate him as a better test bowler than Wasim.
Interesting idea, we will see how everyone warms to it. Bradman will be included in the second season of the draft league though, the format permits him :)
Hey mate, you're up after NUFAN in the draft. NUFAN has four and a half hours to go before he times out and you're up.
